According to the invention there is provided N,N-bis-2-mercaptoethyl isophthalamide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or derivative thereof, for use in the therapeutic treatment of a neurodegenerative disorder, such as Alzheimers disease, Parkinsons disease, Huntingtons disease and/or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
