PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold a functional group, which is sensitive to a biological component to be measured, in a living body and easily and accurately measure the biological component in real time for a long term.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus 6 for biological components includes: an insoluble holder 1 which is buried in a dermis or subcutaneous tissue 11b of a living body M and insensitive to the metabolism of a living cell a functional group 2 which is sensitive to a biological component 10 to be measured and is buried in the dermis or subcutaneous tissue 11b of the living body M with the holder 1 while being held by the holder 1 a detector 3 which detects the degree of the sensitivity of the functional group 2 held in the living body M and a computing unit 4 which computes the quantity of the biological component to be measured based on the detection result of the detector 3.
