The number of blades can be controlled to be more than 3.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013손을 이용한 삽은 그러한 구조로 되어있지 않고, 중심 날이 하나로만 되어있다. 따라서 중심으로 그 힘이 집중되어있어 보다 파기 용이하게 되어있다고 판단이 될지 모르나, 그 중심 부위가 굴삭이 잘 되지 않는 부위면 굴삭에 있어서 매우 어려움을 느낄 수 있다.이를 해결하기 위해 중심부에 타원 모양의 홈을 내어 뾰족한 날이 2개 또는 3개이상 되게 만든다. 단, 날의 개수가 너무 많을 경우, 효율이 떨어질 가능성이 있으므로 토양에 따라 날의 개수르 적절히 조절한다. 이를 이용하면 공사장 등에서의 작업을 할 때 굴삭 효과를 일부 개선할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
