A hospital automatic guided vehicle includes a vehicle housing, an object tracking sensor, a plurality of wheels and a controller. The object tracking sensor is mounted to the vehicle housing and used to track a location of a short-range wireless transmitter. The plurality of wheels are rotatably mounted to the vehicle housing and used to move the hospital automatic guided vehicle.
