A scanner for an endoscope comprising: a scanning mechanism comprising a light transmitter and arranged to move the light transmitter to perform a scan a lens system arranged to optically couple the light transmitter to a target during a scan a first housing which houses at least a first portion of the lens system a second housing which houses at least the fibre scanning mechanism and a bendable joint joining the first and second housings such that in a scanning configuration the bendable joint joins the first and second housings so that optical elements in the first and second housings are aligned at a working separation, the bendable joint arranged to bend in response to insertion forces applied to the scanner during insertion of the scanner and revert to the scanning configuration in the absence of insertion forces.Linvention porte sur un scanner pour un endoscope, lequel scanner comprend : un mécanisme de balayage comprenant un émetteur de lumière et conçu pour déplacer lémetteur de lumière afin de réaliser un balayage un système de lentilles conçu pour coupler optiquement lémetteur de lumière à une cible durant un balayage un premier boîtier qui reçoit au moins une première partie du système de lentilles un second boîtier qui reçoit au moins le mécanisme de balayage de fibre et un joint pliable assemblant les premier et second boîtiers de sorte que, dans une configuration de balayage, le joint pliable réunisse les premier et second boîtiers de sorte que des éléments optiques dans les premier et second boîtiers soient alignés à une séparation de travail, le joint pliable étant conçu pour se plier en réponse à des forces dintroduction appliquées sur le scanner durant une introduction du scanner et revenir à la configuration de balayage en labsence de forces dintroduction.
