PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paddy work machine configured in such a way that: a ground leveling device is supported in the front part of a ground work device freely vertically movably and power of the ground work device is transmitted to the ground leveling device and the ground leveling device is not rotationally driven at a high position being a non-work position..SOLUTION: The paddy work machine includes: a ground leveling device 53 which is supported in the front part of the ground work device freely vertically movably and a second vertically moving mechanism 56 which vertically moves the ground leveling device 53 with respect to the ground work device, from a work position A3 where the ground leveling device 53 is in contact with a surface of paddy G and a non-work position A4 over the surface of paddy G or vice versa.
