[Problem] To provide a control composition and a control method for attracting swarms of harmful arthropods and protecting plants from the damage caused by the harmful arthropods. [Solution] A harmful arthropod-attracting composition has a synergistic effect and comprises at least two selected from the group consisting of p-anisaldehyde, benzaldehyde, ethyl nicotinate, geraniol, linalool, nerol, citronellol, o-anisaldehyde, ß-farnesene, methyl anthranylate, methyl benzoate, o-aminoacetophenone, o-anisidine, methyl m-aminobenzoate, methyl o-toluylate, eugenol, 3-phenylpropyl aldehyde, cinnamaldehyde, eucalyptol, squalene, and a-hexyl cinnamaldehyde.
