PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vascular hardness evaluation system and vascular hardness evaluation method for appropriately evaluating vascular hardness.SOLUTION: A measured person is moved from a waiting room where the temperature is adjusted at fixed temperature by a temperature adjuster 10 to a blood pressure measurement room where the temperature is adjusted at fixed temperature higher than that of the waiting room. At the same time, the blood pressure of the measured person is repetitively measured by using a sphygmomanometer 2. A calculation part 8 calculates a difference Psi from blood pressure at each last measurement time point by each measurement time point, based on blood pressure data measured by the sphygmomanometer 2, and calculates the ratio R of an addition value A of absolute values of the differences Psi to the blood pressure P0 at the time of measurement start.
