A transmission device for power-driven cutting tool includes a base body, a transmission component, a linking component, a shaft component and a link component. The base body includes a through slot, a sleeve and a receiving part. The transmission component is inserted in the through slot and combines the transmission component with the base body. The linking component is inserted in the sleeve and combines the linking component with the base body. The shaft component and the link component are disposed in the base body. A power source drives the linking component to sequentially drive the shaft component, the link component and the transmission component for operation, so as to make a cutting tool reciprocally move along a linear path for performing a cutting operation.
