PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for oral administration for improving bioavailability of curcumin and increasing biological activity of curcumin, and a method for producing the composition.SOLUTION: The composition for oral administration includes a curcumin-containing material and turmeric essential oil, wherein the turmeric essential oil is obtained by isolation from turmeric and the curcumin-containing material is obtained by isolation from deoiled turmeric obtained by removal of the turmeric essential oil.
