Described herein are microparticles suitable of oral administration of active agents to a subject in need thereof. The microparticles will localize in the gastrointestinal tract of the subject without crossing the intestinal mucosa into the intestinal bloodstream. The microparticles are resistant to degradation in the stomach, and can deliver the active agent to the intestinal lumen, while the microparticle itself is excreted by the subjects system. The microparticles are self-sustaining bodies of a crosslinked polymer matrix and an active agent encapsulated therein. The polymer matrix further comprises a plurality of delivery enhancing moieties, wherein at least a portion of the delivery enhancing moieties being presented on the exterior surface of the microparticle.La présente invention concerne des microparticules qui conviennent pour une administration orale dagents actifs à un sujet qui en a besoin. Les microparticules se concentreront dans le tractus gastro-intestinal du sujet sans traverser la muqueuse intestinale dans la circulation sanguine intestinale. Les microparticules sont résistantes à la dégradation dans lestomac et peuvent administrer lagent actif à la lumière intestinale pendant que la microparticule elle-même est excrétée par le système des sujets. Les microparticules sont des corps auto-entretenus dune matrice polymère réticulée et dun agent actif encapsulé dans cette dernière. La matrice polymère comprend en outre une pluralité de fractions damélioration de ladministration, au moins une partie des fractions damélioration de ladministration étant présentée sur la surface extérieure de la microparticule.
