The present invention provides novel spiro [cyclobutane-1,3'-indolin] -2'-one derivatives of formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The compounds of formula (I) are useful as bromo domain inhibitors in the treatment or prophylaxis of diseases or disorders in which bromo-domain inhibition is desired.
