A disinfection wiping pad comprises a contact layer that absorbs and carries disinfection liquid and an impermeable layer that covers atop the contact layer and is liquid impermeable. The impermeable layer blocks the liquid that permeates the contact layer so as to protect hands of medical care personnel from being contaminated by blood originating from a wound of a patient and permeating the contact layer in applying the disinfection liquid for disinfection purposes, or to protect hands or users from being stained by the disinfection liquid that is mixed with contamination.
