Disclosed is an antibody molecule or a nucleic acid encoding said antibody molecule, wherein said antibody molecule specifically binds Cathepsin S but does not inhibit the proteolytic activity of Cathepsin S and wherein said anti-Cathepsin S antibody molecule is: (i) capable of inducing ADCC or (ii) comprised in an immunoconjugate of an anti-Cathepsin antibody molecule and a chemotherapeutic agent or (iii) capable of sequestering Cathepsin S. Also disclosed is the use of said antibody molecule in the preparation of a medicament for the treatment of neoplastic disease, cancer, inflammatory condition, or an ocular disease.
