A garden edging system comprising a lower, or base part 1 that is set into the ground, a middle part 2 that slots into the base part and an upper part 3 that is pressed or adhered to the middle section. Preferably the middle and upper parts can be removed from the base part by lifting, without disturbing the ground into which it is set, to facilitate garden care or the replacement of the upper part, which may be made from recycled plastic. The base and middle parts are preferably made of galvanised steel.
