PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial breeding water suitable for breeding both of freshwater fish and marine fish alternatively to natural seawater.
SOLUTION: The breeding water for use in artificially breeding both of marine and freshwater organisms is provided, being such that sodium, calcium and potassium are added to artificial breeding water so that the final specific gravity come to 1.004 or higher but not higher than that of natural seawater. In the final artificial breeding water, it is characterized by that the abundance ratio of potassium to calcium is 0.93 to that in natural seawater, and the abundance ratio of sodium to calcium plus potassium is 55 to that in natural seawater.
