La méthode consistant à administrer au sujet une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'un agent choisi dans le groupe constitué par miR-218, miR-218*, un précurseur associé et une séquence de polynucléotides codant pour miR-218 ou pour miR-218* ou un précurseur associé, ce qui permet de traiter la MMN chez le sujet.
