The present invention is a support for a fishing rod. The support comprises: a bar part (20) being stuck in the ground and a support part (10) coupled to a front end unit of the bar part and having a pair of wing units (12) provided for the formation of a sitting unit (14) on which the fishing rod is seated, wherein an extended wing unit (12a) on one side thereof is extended upward. An upper end unit of the extended wing portion (12a) can prevent the fishing rod from being separated as the upper end is bent towards a central portion on which the seating part is formed. The support part (10) is comprised with a mounting hole (12h) formed on a lower portion of the seating unit and to be inserted and coupled to an insertion unit (22) in the front end unit of the bar part such that the direction of the extended wing portion can be changed in accordance with an insertion direction of the support part.
