PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a puncture object portion at an easy-to-see position with a simple operation.SOLUTION: A display processing part rotates a tomographic image counterclockwise by an input rotation angle A with a scan reference point 24 as a center and generates image data for puncture representing an image obtained by deleting the end on the rotation direction side of the tomographic image by an angular range 2A as an image 54 for puncture. The display processing part generates the image data for puncture with, for example, rotation processing to tomographic image data and deletion processing for deleting or invalidating data corresponding to the end on the rotation direction side of the tomographic image. With the image 54 for puncture, an image 50 of the puncture object portion is displayed in the vicinity of the center of the image together with a guide line 48.
