PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bad odor removal device to be treated inexpensively, whereas young shell residue adhering onto a scallop culture net cage generates bad odor in large quantities after landing.SOLUTION: A culture net cage is washed with sea water, and young shells in washed residue are inputted into a container and held for a fixed period. Hereby, marine microorganisms, marine bacteria or the like decompose dead flesh of young shells or the like, and an outer wall of the container is evaporatively cooled, to thereby prevent volatilization of bad odor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5【課題】ホタテ養殖網篭等に付着する稚貝残渣は陸揚げ後、悪臭を発生し、また大量の発生であることから、安価に処理する悪臭除去装置の提供。【解決手段】養殖網篭を海水で洗浄し、洗浄残渣の稚貝を容器に投入し、一定期間保持することで、海水中の海洋微生物、海洋細菌類等が稚貝等の死肉を分解し、また容器の外壁を気化冷却することで、悪臭の揮散を防止する。【選択図】図５
