PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new fertilization method and a new production method of a perennial crop in which a readily available fertilizer and a slow-release fertilizer are mixed and applied to the perennial crop to be capable of improving yield rate and reducing application rate.SOLUTION: In a fertilization method of a perennial crop cultivated in a ridge of a field, a readily available fertilizer is applied to a soil under tree crown in the ridge, and a slow-release fertilizer including nitrogen is applied to a soil between the ridges. The slow-release fertilizer is provided in which an extraction ratio of nitrogen component for 24 hours is 1-50 mass% when a shaking extraction with ion exchange water is performed at 25°C.
