The inhaler comprises a housing 11 to receive a strip having a plurality of blisters. Each blister has a puncturable lid and contains a dose of medicament for inhalation by a user. A mouthpiece 13 may be pivotally mounted to the housing through which a dose of medicament is inhaled by a user. The inhaler also has an actuating mechanism including a lever 14 operable to sequentially move each blister into alignment with a blister piercing member depending from the mouthpiece. The actuating lever is also operable to cause the mouthpiece to pivot possibly via a cam follower located in cam slot 29 on the mouthpiece. During operation lever 14 rotates about axis AA causing a drive member to advance the blisters into alignment. Further rotation of the lever causes a cam member mounted on the lever to enter leg 29b of cam slot 29 causing mouthpiece (with mounted piercing member 15, fig 16) to rotate about axis BB.
