PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage caused by excessive supply of fluid to the edge part of absorptive element, having hardly-absorbable filament aggregate.
SOLUTION: The absorbable article is provided with an absorptive element 50 which absorbs fluid permeating through a top sheet 30. The absorptive element 50 comprises a lower absorbent 56B and a upper absorbent 56A provided on the top sheet side. The upper absorbent 56A has a structure obtained by opening a tow having the aggregate of a hardly-absorbable filament 52 with artificial urine absorbing quantity of 1.0 times or less of its own weight and, absorbable filament 52 has a structure that the filament extends back and forth along the top sheet 30 and both the ends of filament are placed apart inward from the circumference of lower absorbent 56B by a distance y.
