The present invention relates to transgenic potatos with enhanced salt and drought tolerance and a preparation method thereof. More specifically, the present invention uses the basic-leucine zipper 28 (bZIP28) genes separated from Arabidopsis thaliana and applies the genes for the transformation of the potatoes. Accordingly, the transgenic potatos can have enhanced salt and drought tolerance and be used as disaster-resistant crops capable of being grown normally even under abrupt climate changes due to global warming.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015본 발명은 내건성 및 내염성이 증진된 형질전환 감자 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 애기장대에서 분리한 bZIP28(basic-leucine zipper 28) 유전자를 주요 식량 작물인 감자에 형질전환하였으며, 상기 감자 형질전환체는 내건성 및 내염성이 증진되므로 이를 이용하면 지구 온난화 등 갑작스런 기후 변화에도 생산성에 문제를 초래하지 않는 재해 저항성 작물로써 유용하게 이용할 수 있다.
