A collapsed infusion balloon (4) is located inside the aspiration catheter (2), which has an interior/inner volume (40) delimited by a wall (41), and a delivery catheter (42). The delivery catheter 42 is intended for delivering saline solution (salt solution) for rinsing or for delivering thrombolytic medication into the interior 40. The balloon comprises a plurality of openings which have a diameter between 10 μm and 100 μm in order to enable an atraumatic administration of fluid.
