<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device which can recover and deodorize an odoriferous component contained in an odorous gas efficiently and rapidly. <;P>;SOLUTION: This deodorizing device comprises the components: (1) an electrolytic water device which electrolyzes water into an acidic water and an alkaline water, (2) an atomizing device 2 which atomizes into mist the acidic water and the alkaline water obtained by the electrolytic water device 1, by ultrasonic oscillation, (3) an odorous gas transfer device which conveys mist obtained by the atomizing device 2 with the help of the odorous gas by bringing the mist into contact with the odorous gas, and (4) an electrostatic recovery device 4 which recovers the mist contained in the odorous gas transferred by the transfer device 3 under the action of static electricity. The deodorizing device brings the odorous gas containing an odoriferous component into contact with the mist obtained by atomizing the acidic water and the alkaline water, then thereby, makes the odoriferous component contained in the odorous gas absorbed in the mist and recovers the mist absorbing the odoriferous component, using the electrostatic recovery device 4. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
