The ultrasonic imaging apparatus includes: an ultrasonic collector configured to collect ultrasonic waves from an object； a volume data generator configured to generate volume data based on the ultrasonic waves； and an image processor configured to perform volume rendering on the volume data with reference to a texture image, wherein a translucency property and multi-layer tissue of the object are reflected to each texel of the texture image.
