PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood plasma color tone identifying unit, capable of supplying a safe blood plasma formulation by using a color tone sensor, which is efficiently determined by using the color tone sensor and a weight sensor, at the same time, to improve the workability, and to provide a blood component separator.
SOLUTION: The blood plasma color tone identifying unit has a mounting base of a blood plasma formulation containing bag forming a hole (3A), capable of passing light the color tone sensor (5) for having a light-emitting part (5A) for projecting light on the bag and a light-receiving part (5B) for receiving the reflected light from the bag a light-receiving element (7B) for detecting the light reflected from the light-receiving part (5B) a storage means (7C) for color of the light which is an identification object a control part (7), having a CPU (7D) for comparing the color of reflected light with the color of stored light and a display means (8) and/or a notifying means (10) of identified result of the CPU (7D).
