PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray photography system capable of acquiring X-ray images from a desired direction by taking the tilt of a top plate into consideration.SOLUTION: The X-ray photography system described in an embodiment includes a holding device for holding an X-ray photography unit for performing X-ray photography on a subject. The subject is placed on a top plate. A storage unit stores photography angle information in past photography beforehand. A tilt detection unit detects the tilt angle of the top table. A calculation unit calculates a correction angle for correcting the photography angle information on the basis of the photography angle information and the tilt angle.
