PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric bed, wherein a mattress does not slip off left and right or float up from a bottom plate.SOLUTION: The electric bed has the bottom plate 2 on which the mattress 1 is laid and which is divided into several parts and laid on the top surface of a bed body 3, and raises up, pulls down, or rotates at least some bottom plates 2. In this case, at both side edges of each of these bottom plates 2 that is raised up, pulled down, or rotated, a stopper 4 is integrally formed with the bottom plate to be upwardly protruded, and also an engagement protrusion 5 is provided at the inner surface of the stopper 4. The mattress 1 placed on the bottom plates 2 is located between the stoppers 4 at both the edges, with their engagement protrusions 5 forced to engage with both the ends of mattress 1.
