The load is used for heating an aerosol-generating article containing an aerosol substrate holding or carrying at least one of an aerosol source and a flavor source, with the electric power supplied from a power source. The control unit acquires the temperature of the load, and controls the electric power supplied from the power source to the load based on the difference between the temperature of the load and a predetermined temperature by a feedback control.
