PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal testing equipment, with which learning can be done in a remarkably short time, and which is easy to operate by solving problem of operant learning test equipment conventionally requiring a few weeks to a few months of a training period.SOLUTION: The animal testing equipment for observing operant learning behavior of an animal to be tested, includes an operation feeding unit in which a reward-feeding port for feeding a reward to an operation unit operated by one of forefeet of the animal to be tested, a sensor for sending a signal to a control unit by sensing the movement of the operation feeding unit, a control unit for receiving the signal from the sensor and sending a signal for driving a pump depending on a predetermined program based on the received signal, a pump for supplying drive power for moving the reward from a storage part to the operation feeding unit based on the signal from the control unit, and a storage part for storing the rewards.【課題】従来数週間から数カ月の訓練期間を要していたオペラント学習実験装置の問題を解決し、極めて短時間で学習が可能で、かつ、操作が容易な動物実験装置を提供する。【解決手段】被検動物のオペラント学習行動を観察するための動物実験装置であって、被検動物の一方の前肢で操作する操作部に報酬を供給するための報酬供給口が形成された操作供給部と、操作供給部の動きを感知して制御部に信号を発信するセンサーと、センサーからの信号を受信し、受信した信号に基づいて予め設定されたプログラムに従ってポンプを駆動させる信号を発信する制御部と、制御部からの信号に基づいて貯蔵部から操作供給部に報酬を移送するための動力を与えるポンプと、報酬が貯蔵された貯蔵部と、を備えた、動物実験装置により解決する。【選択図】図１
