The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to express characteristics of a personal blood pressure. The personal blood pressure characteristics expressing apparatus provided by an embodiment of the present invention includes: a pressure detection sensor unit which detects a cuff pressure including the impact of pulse waves； a pulse wave extracting unit which extracts a pulse wave signal of an artery from the cuff pressure detected in the pressure detection sensor unit； a pulse wave vibration amplitude detecting unit which divides the pulse wave signal extracted from the pulse wave extracting unit into multiple window sections and detects a minimum vibration amplitude value from each window section； and a pattern expression converting unit which performs a conversion to express colors showing characteristics of a personal blood pressure by using minimum vibration amplitude values in each window section detected by the pulse wave vibration amplitude detecting unit. By the composition described above, the present invention is able to easily identify the degree of risk of a coronary artery according to the distribution of visualized color.본 발명은 개인적인 혈압 특성 표현 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 개인적인 혈압 특성 표현 장치는, 맥파의 영향을 포함하는 커프압을 검출하는 압력 검출 센서부와, 상기 압력 검출 센서부에서 검출된 커프압으로부터 동맥의 맥파 신호를 추출하는 맥파 추출부와, 상기 맥파 추출부로부터 추출된 맥파 신호를 복수의 윈도우 구간으로 분할하고, 각 윈도우 구간에서 최소 진폭값을 검출하는 맥파 진폭 검출부와, 및 상기 맥파 진폭 검출부에 의해 검출된 각 윈도우 구간에서의 최소 진폭값들을 이용하여 개인의 혈압 특성을 나타내는 색상들로 표현하도록 변환하는 패턴 표현 변환부를 제공한다. 상술한 구성에 의해, 본 발명은 시각화된 색상의 분포에 따라 관상 동맥의 위험 정도를 쉽게 식별할 수 있다.
