Said injection system comprises a space (2) that is shielded from electromagnetic fields with the aid of a shield, an injection device (6) by means of which liquid to be injected can be dispensed to a patient (23), a driving mechanism for the injection device (6), by means of which at least one conveying element (11, 12) can be displaced for injection purposes, and a control and monitoring unit (8) which is located outside said space (2). The inventive injection system prevents interfering electromagnetic fields from being created exclusively by the fact that a hydraulic driving mechanism (10) is provided whose at least one hydraulic conduit (13, 14, 15, 16) is guided out of the space (2) to a pressure generating unit (71, 72, 73, 74).
