PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve efficient sterilization and deodorization by increasing the amount of generated active species, collecting floating bacteria or odor materials in air at one place, and making the active species contact them.SOLUTION: A deodorization and sterilization apparatus is provided which includes a pair of electrodes and carries out plasma discharge by applying designated voltage between the pair of electrodes. Fluid passage holes are provided at corresponding parts of respective electrodes so as to communicate with each other.
