To provide modified release coated capsules which can be easily prepared at reduced costs by a same method and with a same coating materials independent of a capsule shell material and which can exhibit improved drug release profiles such as controlled release and enteric properties.SOLUTION: A capsule contains a non-liquid fill, and comprises a modified release coating, and is band sealed below the modified release coating. The band seal is a gelatin or HPMC band sealing a gap between a body and a cap of the capsule. The modified release coating comprises a film forming agent which is present in an amount of 3-7 mg/cmof the modified release coating. The capsule does not comprise any precoat between the capsule shell and the modified release coating. The film forming agent comprises a compound which is insoluble in a gastrointestinal juice at pH of less than 5 and which is soluble in an intestinal juice at pH of 5 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】カプセル殻材料に関係なく、同じ方法、同じコーティング材料で低コストで容易に調製可能であって、徐放性、腸溶性等の改善された薬物放出プロファイルを示す放出調節コーティングカプセルの提供。【解決手段】非液体充填物（ｎｏｎ－ｌｉｑｕｉｄ ｆｉｌｌ）を含有し、放出調節コーティングを含むカプセルであって、前記放出調節コーティングの下でバンドシールされ、前記バンドシールは、前記カプセルの本体とキャップとの間の隙間を密封するゼラチン又はＨＰＭＣバンドであり、前記放出調節コーティングは、放出調節コーティング１ｃｍ２あたり３ｍｇ～７ｍｇの量で存在するフィルム形成剤を含み、前記カプセルは、前記カプセルの殻と前記放出調節コーティングとの間に全くプレコートを含まず、前記フィルム形成剤は、ｐＨが５を下回る胃腸液中で不溶性であり、ｐＨが５以上の腸液中で可溶性の化合物で構成される、カプセル。【選択図】なし
