PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical needle constituted so that a metal material constituting a needle pipe does not directly come into contact with blood when the needle pipe is thrust in a blood vessel and is capable of preventing blood from being stagnated and coagulated in a vicinity of the boundary of a region coated with a silicone type polymer and a region not coated with the silicone type polymer as is conventional.

SOLUTION: Medical needles 1, 11 and 21 are formed by respectively coated with a polymer and/or the silicone-based polymer imparting no damage to a human body all of the regions substantially coming into contact with blood of the metal material, which constitutes a needle pipe exposed part outer surface 2. 11, a needle pipe exposed part inner surface 2. 12, a needle pipe planted part inner surface 2. 22 and the needle pipe 2, and by keeping a needle pipe planted pipe outer surface 2. 21 not coated or coated with the polymer and/or the silicone type polymer imparting no damage to a human body so that the metal material constituting the needle pipe 2 may not directly come into contact with blood when the needle pipe 2 is thrust in the blood vessel.
