The machine (1) has a circumferential driven conveying unit (7) with a conveying tooth (8) and cutting blades (11). The cutting blades are held in a blade frame (12) that is swivelable around a horizontal transverse axis (22) and in a conveying channel (5) by a swivelable unit having the blade frame. The cutting blades are laterally swivelable around a vertical axis from the machine after separation of connection elements. The separation of the connection elements for lateral swiveling of the swivelable unit is partly operable by a remote control.
