Provided are a system and a method for performing flocking using a flocking device. The flocking device has a coring needle, a dividing needle, a housing and a user interface. The coring needle forms a coring lumen configured to remove the hair follicle from the donor site. The dividing needle is configured to form an opening at the recipient site. The housing at least partially encloses the coring needle and one of the dividing needles.
