PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified release oral tranexamic acid (transformer-4-(aminomethyl) cyclohexane carboxylic acid) formulation which is an anti-fibrinolytic agent, and a therapeutic method using the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a modified release oral formulation comprising tranexamic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a modified release substance. The modified release substance, which is a modified release oral formulation with the in vitro elution rate of tranexamic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, provides a modified release of tranexamic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof from the formulation to be suitable for two or three times a day administration. When the formulation is measured by a (USP 27) Apparatus Type II Paddle Method (50 RPM) in 900 ml water at 37±0.5°C, less than about 70% by weight of tranexamic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is released in about 45 minutes, and about 100% by weight of tranexamic acid or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is released in about 120 minutes.【課題】抗繊維素溶解剤である放出調節経口トラネキサム酸（トランス－４－（アミノメチル）シクロヘキサンカルボン酸）製剤及びそれを用いた治療方法の提供。【解決手段】トラネキサム酸又はその製薬上許容される塩と放出調節物質とを含む放出調節経口製剤。該放出調節物質は、該製剤が1日当たり2回又は3回の投与に適したものであるように該製剤からのトラネキサム酸又はその製薬上許容される塩の調節された放出をもたらすものであり、該製剤は、米国薬局方(USP 27)II型装置パドル法(50RPM)により900mLの水中で37±0.5℃で測定したときに、約45分で約70重量%未満のトラネキサム酸又はその製薬上許容される塩が放出され、約120分で約100重量%のトラネキサム酸又はその製薬上許容される塩が放出される、トラネキサム酸又はその製薬上許容される塩のインビトロ溶出率を有する放出調節経口製剤。【選択図】なし
