PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch-like infusion device which can be conveniently worn against the skin while providing infusion of a desired substance and minimal discomfort by using one or more microneedles.SOLUTION: The device 100 can be secured to a patient via an adhesive surface, and then an interlock 135 is released using a push button activation assembly 105, an essentially even and constant pressure is applied to the contents of a fluid reservoir assembly by a disk or spring assembly 130. The device further provides for the release of one or more spring-loaded patient needles 141 into a patient's skin surface to establish a fluid communication path between the patient needles 141 and the pressurized fluid reservoir contents 150 by the push button activation surface to infuse a substance into the patient's skin.
