The abutment (2) has a root portion (6) anchorable in a dental implant (1), and a head portion (3). An outer surface of the head portion rotates symmetrically to a longitudinal axis of the abutment, and is conically tapered to the root portion, where the outer surface rotates in an angular range of between 0-25 degress. Bell-like adapter part (5) is arranged to the head portion, where an inner sheath of the adapter part is tapered to the outer surface of the head portion. The adapter part includes a concentric passage opening, which is circumscribed of an annular shoulder ring. The abutment and/or the adapter part are made of metal e.g. titanium, ceramic and zirconium oxide.
