PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge electrode, a discharge device and an air purification apparatus in which electrical reliability and the like can be enhanced.SOLUTION: The discharge electrode includes a positive electrode having a conductive planar substrate, and a negative electrode having a conductive planar substrate. At least any one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode also has a dielectric covering the surface of the substrate. The positive electrode and the negative electrode face each other while spaced apart from the side surface of the positive electrode and the side surface of the negative electrode by a predetermined distance.
