PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snake climb prevention device which is capable of preventing a snake from climbing an erected body in simple structure using inexpensive materials, reduces trouble for a worker to move upwards or downwards on the erected body or carry luggage up and down, and is not almost influenced by winds.SOLUTION: A snake climb prevention device 1 is configured to give an electric shock to a snake by utilizing a voltage that is induced by an overhead transmission line 3. For example, in an electromagnetic induction type, in the vicinity of the overhead transmission line of a steel tower 2, a vinyl insulation wire is wound in a loop shape around a main post material, and both ends of the vinyl insulation wire are pulled down to a lower part of the steel tower 2. One end of the pulled-down vinyl insulation wire is connected to a first electrode 11a that is provided in one end of an insulator 6a fixed to a lower part of the steel tower 2, and the other end of the pulled-down vinyl insulation wire is connected to a second electrode 12a that is provided in the other end of the insulator. Since a voltage is induced between the first electrode 11a and the second electrode 12a, a snake passing the insulator 6a receives an electric shock when the snake simultaneously touches the electrodes, and falls or stops climbing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】安価な資材を用いた簡易な構造で蛇の立設体への登攀を防止でき、作業員の立設体への昇降や荷物の上げ下げに支障が少なく、風の影響を殆ど受けない蛇登攀防止装置を提供する。【解決手段】蛇登攀防止装置1は、架空送電線3によって誘起される電圧を利用して蛇に電撃を与えるもので、例えば、電磁誘導型にあっては、鉄塔2の架空送電線付近において、ビニル絶縁電線を主柱材の周囲にループ状に巻設し、そのビニル絶縁電線の両端を鉄塔2の下部まで引き下ろし、引き下ろされたビニル絶縁電線の一方を鉄塔2の下部に固定された絶縁体6aの一方の端部に設けられる第1の電極11aに接続し、また、引き下ろされたビニル絶縁電線の他方を絶縁体の他方の端部に設けられる第2の電極12aに接続する。第1の電極11aと第2の電極12aとの間に電圧が誘起されるので、絶縁体6aを通過する蛇は、これらの電極に同時に接触すると電撃を受け、落下するか登攀を断念する。【選択図】 図1
