Described herein is an edible coating for food products in which the coatings comprises a polysaccharide cross-linked with a cross-linking agent solution. Also described herein are methods for coating food products and forming clusters of food products. The use of the edible coating for extending the shelf-life of food products is also described.La présente invention concerne un enrobage comestible pour produits alimentaires comprenant un polysaccharide réticulé au moyen dune solution dagent de réticulation. Linvention concerne également des procédés denrobage de produits alimentaires et de formation de rochers à partir desdits produits. Linvention concerne aussi lutilisation de cet enrobage comestible afin de prolonger la durée de conservation de produits alimentaires.
