The present invention provides a composition containing a nicotine salt, a solution thereof, a production method and a method of use. Certain embodiments provide delivery of said compositions, including by transdermal, oral, nasal and inhalation methods. Certain embodiments are suitable for or packaged with devices including oral troches, chewing gum, transdermal patches, intranasal sprays and intranasal inhalers, electronic liquids and e-cigarettes or steam inhalers.
