The present invention discloses a use of compositions of Rhodiola (L.) to relieve the symptom of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The compositions of Rhodiola (L.), which include medications for treatment of inflammatory of respiratory distress, can lower CAT score which indicates the relieve effects of the symptom of COPD patients. The relieved effects of immunity pathways of CD8+T cell of Rhodiola (L.) treatment in COPD patients are represented in the significant decreasing of the pro-inflammatory pathways of Th1 cell and the increasing of the immunity pathways of CD4+CD25+FOXP3+and CD4+CD25+CD45+FOXP3+.本發明係關於一種紅景天水性萃取物之組合物用於改善慢性阻性塞肺病之用途,其組合物包含治療支氣管及肺部腫脹之藥劑,可用於改善慢性阻塞性肺病病患之CAT數值,其改善機制為CD8表面抗原T細胞之免疫反應,可包含調降Th1輔助細胞誘發之免疫機制,以及包含調升CD4、CD25、FOXP3表面抗原或CD4、CD25、CD45、FOXP3表面抗原之免疫路徑。
