PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick-like body in which elastic force and hardness can be freely adjusted and also the condition of a shaft and the node of vibrations, etc., can be easily adjusted, and which can be stably used for a long period of time, does not break or fail, does not cause deformation such as bending or warping, is easily designed and manufactured, and can be produced inexpensively.
SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing the stick-like body having a structure comprising a center layer whose cross section is a regular polygon and an outer peripheral layer on the outer side, a plurality of planar bodies having two equal long sides, two short sides and thickness are prepared, the long sides and short sides of the plurality of planar bodies are turned to the same dimension, and they are piled up. The plurality of piled-up planar bodies are formed as equally divided stick-like bodies, which in turn has as its cross section an isosceles triangle for which the short side is equally divided and turned to the bottom side, the thickness of the plurality of planar bodies is turned to the height and 360°/a division number is a vertex angle and having the long side as the length. The divided stick-like bodies are combined to configure the stick-like body whose cross section is the regular polygon for which the vertex angle is the center.
