The invention relates to a gel-forming formulation comprising a glycosaminoglycan and a monoglyceride. The invention also relates to a medical device comprising the gel-forming formulation and to the gel-forming formulation for use as a medicament, preferably for use in the treatment and/or prevention of osteoarticular diseases.
