The invention relates to a device and method for spreading a predominantly liquid product, the device comprising: a. a carrier (150) capable of progressing on the spreading surface (100) and comprising a control unit (160) for controlling the conditions of evolution of said machine； b. a ramp (151) spreading carried by the carrier； vs. a terminal (110) for distributing the product to be spread, fixed with respect to the spreading surface； d. an adduction assembly of the product to be spread, from the distribution terminal to the spreading ramp, comprising: di. a sheath (122) of adduction mounted on a motorized reel (123) carried by the carrier； dii. a pump (121)； diii. a product flow sensor (141) at the inlet of the spreading ramp and means for delivering the flow information to the control center.
